My Wings Are Too Big
My wings are too big for the space in your heart
You're trying to keep me inside and I'm trying to fly
My wings are too big
I forgot how to fly
Why won't you set me free
I would rather die
I tried to fly out but I'm aiming too high
Every breath that I take feels like living a lie
You're always there for me but you don't set me free
Why did I choose to stay, this place is not for me
My wings are too big and you are too shy
We could fly together but you'd rather live a lie
We don't need a space, we only need the sky
For both of us to fly
For our hopes to get high
Because of too much pride
We both die inside
Inside the smallest fears
Waiting for the years
And we forget to try
To fly
